Edelstein

I'm Rachel, an LA-ish-born and based actor, comic, and writer. I love listening to Taylor Swift, and I bake a mean lemon bar. I graduated from the California Institute of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting and a minor in Social Science. I received extensive training at CalArts in improv, Chekhov, Shakespeare, movement, and dialect work. I also spent a summer studying at the Gaiety School of Acting - The National Theatre School of Ireland.​​ Recently, I have been honing my skills in Improv 401 at the Upright Citizens Brigade!​

I produce and co-host a monthly stand-up comedy show called No Boys Allowed at the Lyric Hyperion. The show began as a weekly open mic and quickly developed into an opportunity to highlight LA's funniest non-male comedians. Past comics include Tina Friml, Kristin Chirico, Sabrina Wu, Hayden Johnson, and more!

I can be seen performing stand-up comedy across Los Angeles. I've opened for Alex Edelman at the Hollywood Improv and can be seen at other venues like the Elysian, Ice House, and more. You can check out clips of my comedy on Instagram and TikTok.​
